CONTAINED IN VOL 03.05, 2001Deals with spectrometric analysis of aluminum and aluminum alloys for elements in the concentration ranges listed. Applies mainly to control analysis of chill-cast samples. Other forms can be analyzed given that they are adequately massive to prevent undue heating, they allow machining flat surfaces with minimum dimension of around 1.6 in. (16 mm) and reference materials of similar metallurgical condition and chemical composition are obtainable.
