This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies steel tyre chains to be attached to wheel tyres for slip prevention of the automobile (excluding two-wheeled vehicles, industrial vehicles, construction machines and agricultural machines) during the runs on such a road as snowy, frozen and muddy.
