CONTAINED IN VOL. 15.04, 2005Defines test requirements to determine the resistance of leather to cracking when folded with the grain (or finish) surface on the outside of the bend. Heavy leathers such as harness, belt, strap, bag, case etc. are normally bent around a mandrel using either mechanical resistance, such as clamp, vise and so on, or manually.
