The scope shall be follows. a) This Standard specifies general matters common to the manufacture, test, and inspection of steel castings. b) In the case where the standard for steel casting materials differs from this Standard, that steel castings standard applies. c) This Standard specifies a series of additional requirements capable of applying to steel castings. Those requirements apply only in the case where specified by the purchaser.
