CONTAINED IN VOL 04.11, 2001Deals with vacuum collection of surface dusts onto filters by use of portable air sampling pumps. Samples collected in this way, permit subsequent digestion and determination of lead content by way of atomic spectrometric, or equivalent, procedures. Primary intended application is sampling from soft surfaces. Lead is determined on a loading basis, and can also be determined on a concentration basis where pre-weighed filter or filter cassettes are employed.
