Covers installations and equipment sourced from outside New Zealand, and which operate at voltages and/or frequencies other than those used in New Zealand, ensuring they can be safely supplied from the New Zealand electricity supply. Supply of electricity to aircraft is outside the scope of this Standard, nor is it intended to cover hazardous area, electromedical or ELV installations or equipment. Note: Amendment 1 was published on 26 January 2007 to withdraw Section 6 and Appendix B of the Standard pending further assessment. The remainder of NZS 6114:2006 remains in place as a New Zealand Standard.
