Specifies requirements for safety nets made from man-made fibres and designed to catch personnel falling while working on high buildings or carrying out structural work. Covers requirements for nets capable of retaining a man falling directly from a height of up to 6 m above the lowest point of anchorage of the net. Does not cover the use of nets in lift shaft smaller than 4 m by 3 m.
