Applies to indirectly heated and internally electrically heated heat treatment furnaces for treatment of metallic materials, with bath loading (fixed furnaces as specified in VDMA 24202) (see Explanatory notes). It specifies requirements for such furnaces with regard to temperature uniformity in the effective working volume of the furnace without charge.
