Describes mechanical properties of bolts, screws and studs with nominal diameters up to 39mm, of any triangular ISO thread and with diameters and pitches according to BS 3643, of any shape and made of carbon steel or alloy steel. Excludes set screws and similar threaded fasteners. Also excludes requirements for such properties as weldability, corrosion resistance and ability to withstand temperature above +300 degrees C or below -50 degrees C.
