Gives the determination of the gross calorific value at constant volume of coal or coke, using an adiabatic, an isothermal or a static bomb calorimeter. For the calculation of results to bases other than 'as analysed' reference should be made to Part 16 of this standard. Covers references, definitions, special reagents, special apparatus, procedure, corrections, calculation and expression of results, precision of the determination and determination of effective heat capacity of the calorimeter.
