This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the method of measuring the thermal conductivity of thermal barrier coatings for covering the hot parts of a power generating gas turbine used in a thermal power plant, etc. such as the combustion chamber, rotating blade and stationary blade, at an ordinary temperature in a direction perpendicular to its coating surface.
