On the basis of the provisions in DIN 1754 Part 1, this Standard applies for preferred dimensions of seamless tubes to coordination of tolerance A*) of outside diameter from 8 to 419 mm and wall thickness from 0.5 to 4 mm to be used for pipelines of nominal width 6 to 400 and for which inter-nationally standardized joints (flanges and unions) and fittings are available.
