Gives a number of methods of test for contact lenses. Covers definitions, determination of radius of curvature using an optical microspherometer, determination of diameter, segment height and location of fenestration, thickness, dioptric and prismatic powers. Appendices cover calibration of test equipment, conditioning of lenses prior to testing and a method of inspection for internal defects and surface imperfections.
