Specifies the acceptable limits of assessed and defined surface imperfections on elastomeric toroidal sealing rings ('O'-rings). Applies to 'O'-rings with a cross section up to and including 8 mm diameter. Covers the Grade N (General purpose) and Grade S (Special) Quality grades. Primarily relates to 'O'-rings manufactured in accordance with BS4518, BS 1806 and British Standard M48, but may also be applied to other 'O'-rings. Also gives various definitions.
