Specifies the starting performance for three designs of single- speed 50 Hz or 60 Hz cage induction motors having rated outputs from 400 W up to and including 10 000 kW and rated on the basis of duty-type S1. The motors may have any degree of protection. This standard applies to dual voltage motors in so far as the flux saturation level is similar for both voltages.
