This standard is included in DIN Handbook 85. Applies to air treatment systems as specified in DIN 1946 Part 1 ('HVAC systems', for short) installed in working environments and assembly areas in buildings, provided such systems are rated for the specified air flows, are equipped to perform the thermodynamic air handling functions required in the given application, and are fitted with air purification facilities.
