Specifies the safety requirements for RIC engine driven generating sets for land amd marine use up to 1000 V, an alternating current (a.c.) generator including controlgear, switch gear and auxillary equipment. It excludes generating sets used on board of seagoing vessels and mobile offshore units and aircraft or to propel road vehicles and locomotives.
