The standard specifies safety requirements and their verification for lawnmowers with internal combustion engines with on board (seated), vertical axis and helical blades (hereinafter referred to as "lawnmowers") and equipped with: - metal cutting; and / or - non-metal cutting member with one or more cutting members freely rotating on a pin and mounted on a generally circular transmission unit, where these cutting members use a centrifugal force to perform the cut with a kinetic energy of a single cutting element greater than or equal to 10 J.
