This standard is included in DIN Handbook 143. Specifies the technical drawing conditions for fasteners (mainly screws, bolts and nuts) with an M 6 to M 36 coarse thread and provided with a zinc coating applied by hot-dip galvanizing, assigned to property classes up to 10.9 for bolts and 10 for nuts. The minimum coating thickness specified in this Standard also apply to hot-dip galvanized accessories such as plain washers and lock washers.
