This Standard is included in DIN Handbook 175 and 219. The humidity of the atmosphere that forms over aqueous solutions is governed by the water vapour pressure of the solution. In a conditioning chamber where, on reaching the state of equilibrium, the temperature of the aqueous solution is the same as that of the air, the partial pressure of the water vapour in the air is equal to the water vapour pressure over the solution.
