Defines a method of test simulating practical conditions for establishment as to whether a hygienic handwash product reduces the release of transient flora in accordance with requirements for washing artificially contaminated hands of volunteers. Applicable to products to be used in areas and situations when disinfection is medically indicated, eg hospitals, community medical facilities, dental institutions and school, kindergarten and nursing homes, together with the workplace and home.
