This standard is included in DIN Handbook DIN DVS Handbook 8. Defines requirements for classification of wire electrodes, wires and rods for gas shielded metal-, gas tungsten-, plasma- or submerged arc welding of stainless and heat-resisting steels. Chemical composition is the basis for classification of wire electrodes, wires and rods.
