Suitable for casting alloys, for marking dental restorations and appliances. Excludes alloys used as the substructure of a ceramic to metal restoration. Classifies alloys by strength, low, medium, high and extra high. Includes information and instructions and marking procedures. Illustrates test specimens with cylindrical ends, threaded ends, and suggested sprues and sprue button.
