Specifies requirements for, and establishes a classification of, gypsum-bonded casting investments together with the test methods to be used to determine compliance with these requirements. Applies to gypsum-bonded investments suitable for casting dental gold alloy which have liquid temperatures not greater than 1080 Degrees C. Coverage includes: sampling, packaging and marking. Also includes annexes, tables and diagrams.
