Proposes requirements for low pressure flexible hose assemblies for use with medical gases. Design, performance, identification and testing of low pressure flexible connecting assemblies used for conveying the medical gases at positive pressures between 400 kPa and 1400 kPa, and between -60 kPa and -95 kPa for vacuum, are specified. Flexible hoses used in fixed secondary equipment are not dealt with.
