Specifies dimensional, mechanical and electrical requirements for both non-perforated blank and pre-recorded magnetic tapes, and for their associated recording and reproducing systems such as reel-to-reel, cassette and cartridge. Includes methods of measurement and the necessary tolerances to secure interchangeability of recordings. This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from IEC 94-1:1981.
