Applies to portable internal combustion engine brush saw ('brush saw', for short) as covered in DIN 1874-1, and specifies a method of measuring the vibration of such saws, the measurements being made as described in DIN 45675-1. It provides specifications supplementary to DIN 45675-1, the aim being to enable characteristic results to be obtained by measuring the vibration on brush saw handles under conditions closely resembling those in actual service.
