In the time-dependent creep compression test under heat the compressibility is determined in relation to the temperature and time. The object of the test is to assess the deformation of rigid foams under compressive stress; it also permits determination of the temperature up to which the foam retains its dimensional stability under long-duration load. Agreement shall be reached on the loads and test temperatures and on which of the methods of calculation given in Section 7 shall be adopted.
