This standard is included in DIN Handbook 15, 62-1, 15-2 and 62 CD. Specifies dimensions and technical delivery conditions for both seamless and welded steel pipes intended for the construction of water pipelines, particularly drinking water pipelines, but not of pipework for domestic water supply systems (the latter being covered in DIN 2440, DIN 2441 and DIN 2442).
