Applies to circuit breakers, the main contacts of which are to be connected to circuits with rated voltages not exceeding 1,000V a.c. or 1,200v d.c.; also contains requirements for integrally fused circuit breakers. Applicable whatever the rated currents, method of construction (e.g., conventional circuit breakers, moulded case circuit breakers) or proposed applications of circuit breakers may be.
