This standard is included in DIN Handbook 85. Applies to refrigerating plants and heat pumps (the former term being used below refer to both). It specifies permissible working pressures and saturation temperatures as a function of the refrigerant used, the aim being to provide the design engineer with significant data on which to base the actual construction of such plants (see Explanatory notes).
