CONTAINED IN VOL 06.03, 2005 Specifies shellac varnish solution or "cut" of specified grade and type of dry lac resin in specially denatured alcohol. Ninety-five percent (190 proof) ethyl alcohol, specially denatured most commonly used solvent.
