This standard, in conjunction with DIN 3442 Part 1, applies to Type 1 and Type 2 polypropylene (PP) diaphragm valves ('diaphragm valves', for short) designed for pressure temperature ratings as specified for Series 4 pipes in Table 6, Column 4 of DIN 8077, June 1985 draft.
