Specifies the technical requirements for Customer Equipment (CE) that: (a) is designed or intended to transmit and receive voice frequency signals for voice communication, voice messages or tones by direct or indirect electrical or electro acoustic means; and (b) is designed or intended for connection to the Public Switched Telephone Network or a basic access or primary rate access Integrated Service Digital Network.
