Proposes requirements for the safe design and manufacture of surgical and diagnostic luminaires. It is recommended that, to interpret a Particular Standard, a copy of the General Standard (AS/NZS 3200.1.0) should be readily available. It is identical with and reproduced from IEC 60601-2-41:2000. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
