ALSO NUMBERED AS BS 6083 PT2 1996 Applicable to hearing aids of any type with automatic gain control (AGC) circuits. States methods for specification of dynamic and static performance characteristics of hearing aids with AGC circuits with relevant measurement methods for these characteristics. It includes devices with compression and/or limiting properties regarding the envelope of the input signal, together with those which control the long-term average output level.
