Gives photometric methods to determine manganese, after oxidation with sodium periodate, in rubbers and rubber latices. These two methods contain provisions for analysis of chlorine-containing rubber. 1) Specifies a method for compounded or vulcanized rubbers which are not affected by heavy loadings of filters. 2) Gives a method for raw and compounded natural and synthetic rubbers and latices not containing heavy loadings.
