Relates to fixed capacitors for direct current, for rated voltages not exceeding 6,300 V, with electrodes of thin metal foils and a polystyrene film dielectric. They are designed for use in electronic equipment. Gives preferred ratings and characteristics and selects from specification CECC 30000 appropriate quality assessment procedures, test and measuring methods and describes general performance requirements for this type of capacitors. Capacitors for a reactive power greater than or equal to 200 VAR are not covered. Also excludes capacitors for radio interference suppression which are covered by IEC 384-14.
