Proposes the adoption of IEC60320-2-2:1988 as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard contains essential safety and associated requirements for two-pole interconnection couplers for a.c. only, with or without an earthing contact and having a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V and a rated current not exceeding 16A. The couplers are intended for the interconnection of the electrical supply to electrical appliances or equipment. AnnexZZ lists variations for Australian and New Zealand conditions.
