Defines geometric tests, machining tests, and tests for checking accuracy and repeatability of positioning of numerically controlled axes for general use, normal accuracy, bridge-type milling machines having a fixed, portal type bridge. Also defines the tolerances applying correspondingly to those tests. Applies to machines with moving tables and fixed double columns, but not to single-column, open sided machines and machines having fixed tables and moving columns.
