Gives formulations, mixing and vulcanization procedures for acrylonitrile butadiene rubber, fluoroelastomers, and ethylene propylene diene rubber. The procedure evaluates the effect of mineral based and fire resistant hydraulic fluids by measuring the physical properties of test pieces of the test elastomer before and after immersion in the fluids. These formulations are sensitive to fluid variations and have comparatively high swelling characteristics.
