This is the official English language version of EN 772-1:2000, part of a package of new European Standards being prepared. Although the English versions of these European Standards will be adopted as British Standards as they become available, the existing British Standards for masonry units will be retained, until the time that the complete package of European Standards becomes available. Any residues from British Standards affected by the package which need to be retained, will be drawn together to form a new British Standard. The original group of British Standards will then be withdrawn. Specifies a method to determine compressive strength of masonry units.
Partially supersedes NEN 7027 and NEN 3838. (07/2002)
