Describes fixed capacitors for radio interference suppression for apparatus and machines connected to a supply with voltage not exceeding 500V d.c. or a.c. between conductors or 250V d.c. or a.c. between any one conductor and earth and frequency not exceeding 100 Hz. Capacitors for special environmental conditions have to fulfil additional requirements. Includes related documents, terminology, preferred ratings and characteristics and requirements for tests and measuring methods.
