Applies to seamless tubes which are intended for use in surface condensers and heat exchangers, e.g. steam condensers, oil coolers, air coolers and similar apparatus, and which are made from the materials listed in Table 1.

similar to ISO/DIS 1636:1983. DIN EN 12451 supersedes DIN 1785, DIN 17933(PT21) & partly DIN 1755(PT1).
