Defines requirements for classifying and marking wood preservative products in accordance with their performance and suitability for use, for each of five hazard classes specified in EN 599. Applies to all liquid wood preservatives for preventive treatment of timbers against wood-attacking fungi, insects and marine organisms, as in HD 1001 and EN 335-1. Does not apply to wood preservatives in paste, solid or capsule form.
