This standard is included in DIN Handbook KUNSTSTOFFE BAND 2. Defines procedures for determining the components in plastics which can be extracted by hot organic liquids near their boiling points. The extractable components can be monomers, oligomers, polymers, plasticizers, stabilizers and so on. The properties of plastics are influenced by the kind and percentage of extractable matter.
