Defines minimum requirements for ensuring that an air or water-cooled air conditioner, air/air or water/air heat pump with electric compressor, is suitable for the use intended by the manufacturer when used in cooling mode. In addition, recommendations are given for the method by which the units' characteristics are defined by the manufacturer to help users and manufacturers to understand and compare different types. Applicable to factory-made units which can be ducted, and which are supplied as a complete package.
