Specifies the requirements for sectional properties and tolerances for hot finished steel structural hollow sections manufactured by an electrically welded or seamless process. Gives sectional properties for the following range of thicknesses and sizes: rectangular, hot formed with or without subsequent heat treatment, in the 50 mm x 25 mm to 500 mm x 300 mm size range; circular, hot formed with or without subsequent heat treatment or cold formed with subsequent heat treatment, in the 21.3 mm to 508 mm diameter size range; and square, hot formed with or without subsequent heat treatment, in the 20 mm x 20 mm to 400 mm x 400 mm size range.
