CONTAINED IN VOL. 01.02, 2008Applies to standard nominal sizes and size tolerances of ferroalloy and alloy additive products. Gives a range of sizes, as referred to in all ASTM ferroalloy and alloy additives specifications. Sizes and tolerances allow for varied friability upon receipt of material, as some attrition can be expected in storage, handling and transit. Specification E 11 lists specifications of sieve sizes used to specify tolerances. Method A 610 describes representative methods for evaluating each lot.
