Specifies design loads for lighting columns. Applicable to post top lanterns with columns not exceeding 20m, and to columns with brackets not exceeding 18m for side entry lanterns. Does not cover special structural designs permitting the attachment of over head wires, signs etc. The criteria for lighting columns made from materials other than concrete, aluminium or steel, i.e. plastic, cast iron and wood are not specifically covered.
